Microfiber is extremely absorbent and will dry hair faster. Using this towel also will drastically cut time used on heat drying products such as a hair dryer that can damage hair.
This towel is unbelievably soft! (I was tempted to use it as a baby blanket for my 2 month old... Hehe!) But, I used it to towel dry my hair. Incredible! Holy moly, does this microfiber towel suck all of the wetness out of your hair! I couldn't believe how little effort it took for me to blow dry my hair. Using this towel allowed me to dry my hair in half the time. I would recommend this towel to everyone. I'd even use it as a towel to wrap my kiddos in after a bath!
